One-day Workshops Usual timings - 10.30am to 5.00pm. Please request separate brochure for full details. Attendees are Initiated into Magnified Healing. Upon completion, they themselves are Master Teachers in Magnified Healing (First Stage), and in turn are able to carry out one day workshop Initiations. It is "safe" for Reiki (myself included) practitioners / Masters to experience / be initiated into this healing technique. It does not disrupt or cancel out symbols! If you are new to subjects of a "spiritual" nature, this workshop is an ideal spring-board to launch you up to your first step on the "ladder" of spiritual knowledge.
Reiki Reiki is a Japanese word meaning "Universal Life-Force-Energy". The "Ki" part of "Reiki" is the same word as Chi or Qi, which in Chinese is the word for the energy. Reiki is a way of "passing through" that energy to another, for the purpose of healing. It was discovered by Dr Usui in the late 1800's. He was a teacher at a Christian school in Japan. Reiki is very simple to use, and beneficial for all. It is one of many forms of healing through the use of the natural forces, ie., the constant and never-ending flow of God's energy of Unconditional Love. So we now know the work Reiki refers to the actual energy and not techniques taught by Reiki Masters. Key Benefits If the recipient has medical conditions/problems for which manipulation such as massage or reflexology would be inappropriate, Reiki is an excellent energy "tool". It can be used in conjunction with other therapies, as well as being a "bolt-on", to massage or reflexology, in order to complete your total relaxation session. Having said that, as I do not have an "on/off" switch, when giving other therapies, it is mostly usual for Reiki energy to flow through automatically.
Please note Since I became aware of "Reconnective Healing" (Dr Eric Pearl), my Reiki has become much, much stronger. Usually when attending other therapists for Reiki, you may find they offer 30 minutes or one hour of Reiki, as I too used to do. However, I now only offer two session lengths; 15 minutes or 30 minutes. I have found this length of time is more than sufficient for most people.
